Cake Pops- The Misunderstood Dessert

Our second fundraiser was a lot of fun but also tons of hard work. We mixed, baked, frosted, and decorated all day in preparation for Sunday's fundraiser. We were so thankful once again for the tremendous support we were shown by the body at CC Surprise. We are ever inching towards our financial goals and we are so excited to see God's faithfulness in providing for the needs of the team. Please continue to lift up our team in prayer daily as we prepare our hearts for the work God is going to do in and through this team in Surprise and in Costa Rica. Only 116 more days until our trip!!! (Yeah, there's an app for that)
On another note, some people thought that the cake pops were undercooked. They were not. For the skeptics out there, the way cake pops are made is by FULLY baking the cake, and then mixing in frosting to give it a "dough like" consistency. (Yes, they taste the same way at Starbucks) The conclusion of the matter is that the world was not ready for cake pops. At least, not in Surprise anyway.

Let the Fundraiser's Begin...

Our first fundraiser was a huge success due to the wonderful response we got from the body at Calvary Chapel Surprise. Everbody was such a blessing by the way you took interest in the team and by supporting us financially as well as  through your prayers. We are truly encouraged to be loved and supported by our church!

We put in some hard work early Sunday morning...but it was all worth it and it is an awesome way for our team to begin working together in unity.
